About us

The Kartódromo de Cartaya [Cartaya Kartodrome] was created in 1996 to give racing fans the chance to enjoy karting, with complete comfort and safety, at both amateur and competition levels.

Consequently, we built the Playas de Cartaya sports and training complex, which offers all of the technical and recreational tools that make this the ideal place for your entertainment and training.

Whether you are a professional, an aspiring or amateur racer, you will be able to achieve your goals. With the help of experienced professionals and a team ready to assist and provide you with anything you may need, you will be able to go where your imagination and talent take you.

Sur Competición, our competition team, which has helped many drivers reach the top positions at all types of national and international competitions, is at your disposal for your professional technical assistance requirements.

The circuit

The Route
The route is very technical and challenging. It can be modified in 5 different ways providing 5 routes that are perfect for each type of competition.It has three long straights, which allow the karts to run at maximum power and reach top speeds in just a few seconds.The curves extend from 90º turns to our most spectacular 180º turns, which force the driver to demonstrate all his/her skill at the wheel. All of the karting elements are impeccably maintained, such as the asphalt, the kerb, the entrance and evacuation areas, safety elements and all of the facilities in general to guarantee your maximum enjoyment.
The Kartódromo de Cartaya is one of the best circuits to develop your karting technique. It is 1,130 metres long and 9 metres wide, which allows overtaking and puts the driver’s skills and courage to the test.The circuit has exceptional safety conditions and is approved by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, for the hosting of national races and by the Andalusian Automobile Federation, for regional and national races.The circuit can be adapted to all types of competitions as it is possible to have up to 5 different routes.

We have two facilities equipped with all the material necessary for storing, tuning up and repairing karts:Private Boxes: with dimensions of 2x1.80m, for drivers who wish to keep their belongings locked away. Collective parking for competition karts.

At our restaurant, you will be able to enjoy the typical dishes from our coastline (broad beans with cuttlefish and rice, small fried fish, prawns from our coastline, etc.), exquisite tapas and homemade meals with an excellent quality to price ratio.We have a large 200m2 hall and two porches for company lunches, birthday, christening, communion and hen or stag night celebrations.We have two large terraces; one on the rooftop for groups, with excellent views of the circuit and the surroundings, and another right by the circuit.In addition, you can also enjoy drinks and snacks at our bar.The restaurant offers a great variety of menus designed for groups of friends or corporate groups starting from €12. It is a two-seater kart designed to be driven by an adult with children aged 2 and above as a passenger.

It is equipped with a 160cc engine and can reach a speed of around 30km/h.

A kart designed to be as similar as possible to competition karts. It is equipped with high-quality safety measures, such as lateral protection, a headrest and hydraulic brakes.

It has a 270cc engine and can reach a speed of around 60km/h.

A kart designed to be enjoyed by young drivers who are just starting out. Extremely safe and lots of fun, it is equipped with a 120cc engine that reaches a speed of around 30km/h. Ideal for children who have no karting experience.

Children aged 6 to 9.

An intermediate kart with a 160cc engine that can reach a speed of around 45km/h. Both the seat and the pedals can be adjusted to provide comfort for children of different heights.

From 10 to 14 years old.

A kart designed to be as similar as possible to competition karts. It is equipped with high-quality safety measures, such as lateral protection, a headrest and hydraulic brakes.

It has a 270cc engine and can reach a speed of around 60km/h.

Note: The ages at which the hire karts can be used are a guideline only. The circuit manager has the final decision

Es el kart pensado para la iniciación y disfrute de los más pequeños. Altamente seguro y divertido está dotado de un motor de 120ccque alcanza una velocidad aproximada de 30km/h. Ideal para niños sin experiencia. Niños de 6 a 9 años.

Es un kart intermedio con motor de 160cc pudiendo alcanzar una velocidad de 45km/h aproximadamente. Tanto el asiento como los pedales son regulables para la comidad de las distintas tallas de niños. De 10 a 14 años.
